Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations, ensure accurate dispensing, and provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist pharmacists, handle customer inquiries, and help administer vaccines where allowed by state law.

Applicants should have 1-3 years of pharmacy technician experience, be able to follow SOPs, and maintain high accuracy while working as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure/certification
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state
• 1-3 years experience as Pharmacy Technician preferred

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Follow SOPs at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prompt, safe, and accurate dispensing
• Support immunizations and other services where permitted by state law
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stocking as directed
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to provide quality care
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and CVS policies
