Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our store team in the United States. You will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and help deliver a high quality patient experience.

You will interact with patients, support immunization services when eligible, and help maintain store operations in a fast-paced environment. This part-time role requires adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, the candidate must be at least 16 years of age.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in high school/equivalency.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations and other pharmacy services when eligible.
• Support inventory tasks and maintain accurate records per regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork within the pharmacy staff.
