Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a part-time role in a store location in Missouri. The position supports pharmacy teams to deliver safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care, following SOPs and state regulations.

The responsibilities include assisting in immunizations, inventory, and customer service, with required training and licensure steps per state guidelines. The role may involve travel across stores in the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time; pivot quickly between tasks; confirm prescription information and label accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner; respond to patient reactions
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues; active listening
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, pills, and bottle counts
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging interactions and choose best course of action
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, reach, and perform fine motor tasks
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Preferred Qualifications: 1-3 years as Pharmacy Technician; experience in pharmacy/retail/customer service; ability to work across the market to meet business needs

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Active enrollment in high school or high school equivalency program
