Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions with caring service to patients. You will work within our Retail locations to assist the pharmacy team and ensure smooth operations while upholding our standards.

As part of the team, you will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and vaccines, and help manage inventory. Training and state-board certification will be required to perform duties across the market as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and laws.
• Minimum age 16 if applicable.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, personalized service to patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities and manage medication deliveries.
• Support a high-performing team and embrace feedback.
• Travel to stores across the market as needed.
• Comply with all laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional health care services where allowed.
