Job summary

Mercy Hospital Stoddard seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to assist pharmacists with compounding, preparing, and dispensing medications. You will be accountable to the supervising pharmacist and must follow applicable laws to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications include a Missouri Pharmacy Tech registration or willingness to apply by day one, 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred, and Tech II certification (CPhT) is required. PRN schedule with Mercy benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence.
• Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application by first day of work, including fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the PTCB for Tech II/III.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Be accountable to the supervising pharmacist for patient safety and care.
• Follow federal, state and local laws and regulations for the care and safety of customers and patients.
