Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Pharmacy Technician II PRN, you will ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of medication in accordance with Texas pharmacy laws and hospital policies. We seek a dedicated team member who values patient care and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare products, care for equipment, and deliver medications and supplies.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and medications across the pharmacy and throughout the facility.
  • Interact with patients and colleagues with compassion and respect.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Deliver IV medications and other medications to patient care areas.
  • Check inventory for expired medications regularly.
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.
  • Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and ACPE accreditation.
  • Texas IV Certification.
  • BLS certification.
