Cardinal Health's ThriveRx Pharmacy in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Technician II, Retail Pharmacy to support pharmacists in accurately preparing and delivering prescription medications. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a role focused on customer service and community pharmacy care.

The position emphasizes relationship-building with patients, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to ensure medication availability and 340B program compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Retail pharmacy technician related experience preferred.
• State of MN pharmacy license required.
• National PTCB certification preferred.
• May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with medical personnel.
• Understand the requirements of working in a pharmacy.
• Be available to the customer/patients and maintain a friendly and helpful attitude when dealing with customers.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Organizes and assists pharmacist.
• Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Works with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are being followed with regards to 340B.

Skills

Retail pharmacy experience

Experience: 1-2 years

Vendor credentialing

PTCB certification

Education
