Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for its Edward Hospital location in Naperville, IL. The role supports pharmacists in medication preparation, inventory control, and record maintenance, working under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Harsh detail on licensure and certification requirements; the ideal candidate has IL pharmacy tech licensure and may need to complete CPhT/PTCB/ExCPT within specified timelines. IV room experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois.
• Must obtain CPhT within 90 days of hire, or
• PTCB or ExCPT certification pending, or
• Current Pharmacy Technician license with 'Student' designation in Illinois.

• Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and records; works under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.62 - $30.41 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Edward Hospital, 120 Spaulding Drive, Naperville, IL
• Full Time (40 hours/week)
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 730a-430p

What you will need:

• Education (Required):
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certifications (Required):
  • Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
  • One of the following must be met:
    • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire, or
    • Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification, or
    • Current Pharmacy Technician license with "Student" designation issued by the State of Illinois
• IV room experience preferred
