Position Overview

The registered and certified pharmacy technician II works under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services, supporting medication distribution, dispensing, and compounding in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

This role involves assisting with procurement, sterile compounding, process improvements, and ensuring medication safety. Candidates must have inpatient pharmacy experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Procure medications and supplies via various platforms.
• Perform duties of Technician I and all pharmacy technician scope of practice.
• Perform sterile compounding, including hazardous medications.
• Support process improvements and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certifications such as ACPHT, EXCPT, or RPT.
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience.
