Job summary

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Pharmacy in Winston-Salem is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. You will handle labeling, hazardous drug handling, and distribution tasks with focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPhT or ExCPT certification.
• NC Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist in technical duties related to preparation and distribution of medications.
• Accurately select, prepare, and label medications for patients including hazardous drugs and controlled substances.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks.
• Screen calls and route as needed using proper telephone etiquette.
• Participate in inventory control and outdate checking.
