Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College courses desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing medications (sterile and non-sterile) and distributing medications.
• Enter medication orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Issue narcotics as directed.
• Restock automated dispensing devices, surgery, floor stock areas, crash carts and fire medic kits.
• Process patient charges and credits and maintain the drug inventory.
• Work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and do not perform duties that require a registered pharmacist.
