Job summary
Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines, Florida seeks a Pharmacy Technician II to provide distributive pharmacy services under licensed pharmacists, support dispensing and sterile/non-sterile compounding.
Requires CPHT, Florida RPT license, high school diploma, and 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience; sign-on bonus up to $5K for qualified applicants. Evening shift is available.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL).
- One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Inpatient work experience is required to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Assists with procurement of medications and supplies through various ordering platforms.
- Competent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician I.
- Performs sterile compounding, including limited hazardous medications in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Assists with process improvement and continuous quality and safety monitoring initiatives.
- Able to perform all activities per pharmacy technician scope of practice.
