Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs hazardous and nonhazardous sterile compounding, nonsterile compounding, delivers medications, and is responsible for refilling and loading of medications into automated dispensing machines (ADMs). Performs other medication-related tasks such as packaging, preparation of oral and IV medications, record keeping, and all aspects of their distribution. Assists in the transportation and handling of controlled substances and all required documentation as related to their delivery.
