Job summary

Scripps Health in San Diego is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for a full-time role with a 10-hour shift pattern, Mon-Fri and occasional Saturdays. The position requires flexibility to float to five sites: Oceanside, Torrey Pines, Rancho Bernardo, Encinitas, and Hillcrest.

You will perform inventory management, pump compounding, and investigational drug compounding, while supporting central prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• California Pharmacy Technician License required.
• CPhT certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in current practice environment or sterile compounding.
• 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in any practice setting.

Job description

This is a full time position with 10-hour shifts anytime between 5am and 7pm, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Must be flexible to float to all five sites (Oceanside, Torrey Pines, Rancho Bernardo, Encinitas and Hillcrest).

Experience/Specialized Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Certification/Registration

• Current California Pharmacy Technician License.
• Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of years 6 months' experience in current practice environment or in sterile compounding
• 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in any practice setting.
