Catawba Valley Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support the control, preparation, and delivery of pharmaceutical products in a hospital setting. The incumbent will complete orientation with competency in EHR, IV solutions, automated dispensing, and related equipment, including RFID tracking and packaging systems.

Required qualifications include a High School diploma, NC BOP registration, CPhT certification, and ongoing CE (20 hours every two years).

Qualificações

• High School diploma; registered with NC BOP; CPhT certification; maintains 20 hours of Continuing Education in pharmacy field every two years; competency demonstrated after 90 day orientation: EHR, IV solution compounding, automated dispensing system and related apps, Controlled-Substance safe, RFID tracking, packaging systems.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a variety of administrative and support functions relating to the control, preparation and delivery of pharmaceutical products.

Formação académica

High School diploma; NC BOP registration; CPhT certification; 20 hours CE every 2 years

Preferred: CPhT certification; formal technical or vocational training
