Job summary

Mercy Pharmacy Florissant is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications, and to support the supervision and safety of patient care.

The role follows all applicable laws and standards, requires active Missouri Board of Pharmacy registration (or willingness to register by day one) and FBI background fingerprints, and includes orientation and potential career progression.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Licensure: Actively registered, in good standing, with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Experience: 1-year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Other: Successfully complete pharmacy department orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for patient safety.
