Job summary

Baptist Health System in Texas is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist in preparing, packaging, delivering and charging medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role requires accuracy, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to work night shifts.

You will stock ADCs, prepare unit doses, and support IV admixture and sterile preparations, while maintaining proper records and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Graduate or equivalent; accredited training in sterile products preparation.
• Minimum experience: Pharmacy experience.
• Preferred experience: Two years hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fills medication orders with correct strength, dosage form, and quantity in a timely manner.
• Ensures all medications are checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.
• Prepares IV sterile admixture solutions and IV products accurately per policies.
• Restocks medications and maintains stock levels.
• Maintains records of transactions for controlled substances and inventory.
