Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to greet members, enter prescriptions, handle payments, and prepare medications for pharmacist review. The role may involve pharmacy inventory duties and assisting in admixture tasks as needed.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and relevant licensing/certifications. Strong computer skills and hospital systems experience are required.

Formación

• Minimum one year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations.
• Proficiency in computer software and hospital systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate drug inventory in clinics.

Responsabilidades

• Greets members at front desk or call center and verifies eligibility.
• Enters prescription info into computer system and prints labels for pharmacist.
• Receives payments according to members' plan terms.
• Stock drugs and supplies and assist inventory tasks.
• Prepare medications and IVs as directed by pharmacists.
• Maintain proper labeling and drug storage procedures.
• Respond to routine questions about drug coverage and prices.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and clinic staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
