Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensure/registration requirements: DC Pharmacy Intern License, MD Pharmacist Intern License, MD/DC Pharmacy Technician License, or related MD/DC/VA/DC requirements at hire; NAB- Certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greets members at front desk or over the telephone and handles prescriptions.
• Enters prescription information into the computer system and processes payments.
• Prepares medications for pharmacist approval; may perform duties of Pharmacy Inventory Technician or Pharmacy Admixture Technician.
