Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; pharmacy technician certification or completion of training program.
• PA State Board registration as Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Pharmacy Technician required before start date.
• Preferred 1 year of pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders, computer order entry, and prepare items for pharmacist check.
• Maintain inventory and supplies per policies using pharmacy systems.
• Provide customer service by handling prescriptions and documenting information.
• Validate Medicaid/Medicare or insurance adjudication for Outpatient Techs and handle cash/deposits.
• For Inpatient Techs: compound, stock, repackage, and prepare IV medications.
• Central Fill Pharmacy: Safe operation of equipment (forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks).
• Other duties as assigned.
