Qualifications

High School diploma required; Pharmacy Technician certification or pharmacist student status preferred
Illinois Pharmacy Technician License required within 60 days of hire
Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or NHA certification required or pursued within 2 years of hire

Responsibilities

Answer the door and telephone and assist customers
Process prescriptions and insurance billing support
Restock and label medications; monitor Pyxis and IV room supplies
Prepare IVs and chemotherapy orders; print batch labels as needed
Process charges and credits; maintain accuracy in pharmacy logs and paperwork
