We at Fairview Pharmacy Services are seeking you to join the largest health system-based specialty pharmacy in the nation as an entry-level Pharmacy Technician Services Representative. We hire individuals without prior pharmacy experience and provide training through our in-house pharmacy technician program!

This is a full-time position with day/evening shifts from Monday to Friday, including weekend rotations. It is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement through our career ladder or with related teams.

This role involves providing telephone support to pharmacy patients, providers, and pharmacies, ensuring that patients are eligible for and receive prescribed medications accurately and promptly via appropriate delivery methods. Responsibilities include patient tracking, customer service, issue resolution, and escalation.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete the intake process for mail order pharmacy patients, including insurance verification, medication refills, and delivery scheduling.
  • Under the pharmacist's supervision, receive prescriptions/orders from patients, process them manually or using the appropriate computer systems and protocols, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
Minimum Requirements:

Experience: One year of customer service experience.

License/Certification: Ability to register with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy and complete an ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician training program within the first year of employment (training provided by us).
