Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with OTC products, answering coverage questions, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy nomenclature and calculations.
• Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compliance with state board rules and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet members at front desk and take prescriptions for pharmaceuticals.
• Enter prescription information into the computer system and print labels.
• Receive payment according to member plans.
• Select drugs from dispenser or shelf and prepare labels for pharmacist review.
• Reconstitute medications as directed and contact members to pick up prescriptions.
• Assist with OTC products and answer routine drug-coverage questions.
