Job summary

Atrium Health's Winston Campus is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists in preparing and labeling medications, handling hazardous drugs, and assisting with inventory and procurement. This PRN role offers 1st shift options and a schedule that includes every other weekend.

Required is a high school diploma; PTCB/CPhT certification is preferred, with potential travel between campus locations as needed. Compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB/CPhT certification preferred.
• One year pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with preparation and distribution of medications.
• Select, prepare, and label medications for patients including hazardous drugs.
• Assist with medication distribution tasks and inventory control.
• Screen calls and route using proper etiquette.
• Follow USP guidelines for nonsterile compounding and sterile IV admixture as applicable.
