Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director, Pharmacists, and Buyer/Lead Tech, the Pharmacy Technician assists in the preparation and delivery of all medications and performs related duties. This shall be carried out in accordance with all state/federal laws, Joint Commission standards, and hospital/departmental policies and procedures.

Position Requirements/Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent with clerical and science courses preferred. Proof of completion of a board-approved pharmacy technician training program.
Experience: One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred, especially in unit dose and IV admixture.
Certifications: Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy as a Pharm Tech. Certification is required for the Certified Pharmacy Tech role.
