Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a pharmacy technician to support training of new staff and students while handling non-sterile compounding and hazardous medications. This role involves maintaining distribution systems, data entry, and assisting patients with service needs.

You will prepare, stock and deliver medications, participate in inventory management and process charges/credits as needed. Evening shifts may apply and compliance with Florida requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• AHCA background screening in Florida.
• RPT license in the State of Florida.

Responsabilités

• Assist with orientation and training of new pharmacy technicians and students.
• Prepare non-sterile compounded medications, including hazardous meds.
• Cross-train in advanced functions as appropriate.
• Maintain and support medication distribution systems and channels.
• Perform prescription data entry in the pharmacy system.
• Assist with customer service and patient needs, including calls and medication histories.
• Prepare, fill, receive, deliver, stock and restock inventory for the pharmacy.
• Process medication charges/credits when applicable.
