Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of pharmacy terminology and calculations.
• Ability to manage assigned workload within deadlines.
• Computer experience and accurate data entry skills.
• Detail and organizational skills to sort, file and retrieve information.
• Ability to work in a self-directed work team environment in a high-volume setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with clear written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in completing medication orders and preparation of medications for patient use according to procedures.
• Distribute medications, including bedside delivery and mail order procedures.
• Perform computer order entry, record keeping, ordering and billing functions.
• Maintain inventory levels and support Medication Therapy Management services.
• Perform other assigned operational and administrative duties as needed.
