About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician I, you will be an essential part of the core team at a mission-focused, rapidly expanding organization dedicated to removing health barriers for families in Georgia. You will handle incoming medication orders, fill prescriptions, and contribute to the leadership of our inventory management.

In this role, your responsibilities will include…
  • Handling incoming medication orders with exceptional attention to detail, selecting the correct medications from a large inventory of donated drugs.
  • Accurately filling prescriptions by repackaging donated medications from unit-dose packaging into patient vials.
  • Leading inventory management efforts, including removing expired products, updating the inventory system with new items, and ordering essential supplies like vials and envelopes.
  • Assisting with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

To Be Considered, Candidates Must Have:
  • Experience in prescription entry and filling
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Physical Requirements:Frequently able to stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat, and perform light/fine grasping.Frequently able to sit and stand, reach overhead, perform desk-based computer tasks, write by hand, and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds.
