Full Time - Evening Shift
Under the supervision of Registered Pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for tasks such as preparing and filling medication orders, compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations, distributing medication to patients, performing QA inspections, and maintaining stock levels in the hospital.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT), ability to perform dosage calculations, effective communication skills, basic office tasks, proficiency in Pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Internet. Must pass hospital and government validation exams. Prior hospital or retail pharmacy experience and knowledge of drugs and dosages preferred.
