Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I or II - PRN at Baptist Medical Center South to support the medication-use process. You will assist the pharmacist with preparation, compounding, inventory checks, and resolving insurance claims within dispensing workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma and active CPhT or PTCB certification (or within 90 days) and strong computer skills. PRN shifts include first shift responsibilities in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active ALBOP CPhT or PTCB certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform the technical functions involved in the medication-use process.
• Assist the Pharmacist to prepare and compound pharmaceutical products.
• Assess inventory of Pharmacy products and resolve issues with insurance claims during dispensing.
• Position may have additional duties within the scope of the role.
