Baptist Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I/II to support the medication use process at Baptist Medical Center South. The role assists the Pharmacist with compounding, inventory management, and claims resolution during dispensing.

Excellence in multitasking and team collaboration is essential. Requires a High School diploma and active Alabama Board of Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification or equivalent, with PTCB certification or within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active ALBOP Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• PTCB certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform the technical functions involved in the medication use process.
• Assist the Pharmacist to prepare and compound pharmaceutical products.
• Assess inventory of Pharmacy products.
• Resolve problems with insurance claims during dispensing.
• May have additional duties within scope of the role.
