Job summary

Carolina Family Health Centers, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician I to support the Pharmacist in patient eligibility, medication access, and dispensing processes at the Wilson Community Health Center.

Responsibilities include managing the pharmacy patient service area, registering patients, answering calls promptly, and coordinating with staff. Qualified candidates may have bilingual skills; this is a full‑time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• NC Driver License required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Self-directed with good organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pharmacy patient service area and related activities.
• Assist with dispensing processes and patient eligibility checks.
• Accept new or refill prescription requests from patients.
• Ensure patient registration with accurate information and payment type.
• Answer telephone promptly and assist with general questions.
