Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the licensed pharmacist by reviewing prescriptions, preparing medications and maintaining equipment, ensuring accurate processing in line with policies.

You will assist with patient information, maintain inventory, and help deliver reliable patient care. Requires high school diploma, 0-6 months experience and basic MS Office skills; training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Assist with maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Help ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic questions and requests.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies; stock and track inventory.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and maintain site and supplies.
