Pharmacy Technician I, Central Distribution & Omnicell Restock, 2nd shift

Job Summary:

Prepares and delivers unit dose medications and cart fill for adult and pediatric patients. Participates in quality and process improvement activities of the Central Pharmacy. Completes other duties as needed to assist other pharmacy teams, including pediatric pharmacy and the Omnicell team. Upholds the hospital’s seven key values and demonstrates teamwork. Assists pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care. May be cross-trained to other areas. Maintains technician certification.

Position Highlights:

• Full-Time, Evening shifts (primarily 2nd shift: 1500-0130, 1800-0430, 2100-0730), 7 on/7 off, 70 hours bi-weekly
• Location: Winston Campus
• $6,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• One-year pharmacy experience
• PTCB technician certification (CPhT)
• North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days
• PTCB/NHA certification or enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy School within 180 days
