Job summary

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring a pharmacy technician to work under the supervision of a pharmacist in a full-time position at our Oklahoma City facility. The role includes receiving prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining patient profiles, and delivering excellent service at the pick-up window.

Qualified candidates will hold a current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license, with CPhT preferred, and have experience with EHR/RPMS, GSL, and the OptiFill system.

Qualifications

  • Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) preferred.
  • Experience with EHR/RPMS and GSL.
  • Experience with OptiFill Automated Dispensing System.

Responsibilities

  • Routine pharmacy functions such as receiving prescriptions from patients or providers.
  • Prepare and dispense medications.
  • Maintain patient profiles.
  • Provide excellent service to patients at the pick-up window.
  • Answer patient and provider phone calls.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Operate and maintain automated pharmacy equipment.
  • Participate in department quality improvement activities.
  • Conduct monthly medication storage area inspections.
  • Provide technical support services as deemed necessary by the Pharmacy supervisor to maintain consistency in overall Pharmacy services.

Education

Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license
Certified Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) preferred

Qualifications

  • Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license.

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) preferred.

  • Experience with EHR/RPMS and GSL.

  • Experience with OptiFill Automated Dispensing System.
