Job summary

Central California Alliance for Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a temporary 40-hour/week assignment from August to October, via a staffing agency. You will support the Pharmacy Services Supervisor with drug coordination, prior authorizations, and correspondence management.

• Knowledge of computerized drug programs and NDC formats.
• Experience with pharmacy operations and medication coordination.
• Proficient in Windows-based software (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacy Department with issue resolution and communications requiring pharmacy expertise.
• Review and process prior authorization requests for physician-administered drugs.
• Ensure accuracy and timely review of member and provider correspondence.
