Job summary

Custom Health is a Health-Tech company delivering patient-centric home-based care powered by a modern technology platform and in-house clinical team. The Pharmacy Technician will work under Pharmacist supervision to support daily pharmacy operations, ensure accurate dispensing, and maintain inventory with a focus on patient safety.

Role emphasizes timely prescription processing, customer service, and compliance with pharmacy laws and Custom Health standards.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
Active/Good standing Florida pharmacy technician license.
CPhT certification strongly preferred but not required.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Pack and ship prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Troubleshoot medication dispensers with patients and perform stock cleanings.
Prepare and package medications with proper labeling and instructions.
Monitor inventory levels and perform stock checks and maintenance on packaging systems.
Assist with inventory management including receiving and restocking.
Process prescription orders including data entry and insurance claims.
Provide excellent customer service and answer patient questions.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow.
Maintain clean, safe workspace and comply with privacy and safety regulations.
Adhere to all laws, standards and Custom Health ethical policies.
Perform additional tasks such as cleaning as needed during downtime.
