Kroger is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Alaska to support health and wellness initiatives, assist pharmacists, and provide excellent customer service in a safe, compliant environment. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in responsibilities excluding professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing steps.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and company policies.
• Assist with non-dispensing services across platforms and applications.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings in line with regulations.
• Maintain and update license/certification as required by state regulations.
• Ensure sanitation and safety guidelines are followed.
• Assist with training of clerks and technicians.
