Job summary

PHIL, Inc. is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our Kentucky operations. The role supports pharmacists in preparation, data entry, inventory management, and patient communications to ensure timely, accurate medication distribution.

The candidate will work onsite in Hebron, KY, in a fast‑paced startup environment with a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance. A Kentucky license and 1–3 years of pharmacy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Kentucky Pharmacy Technician license.
• 1–3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably retail or mail‑order.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and label prescriptions under the direction of a licensed pharmacist.
• Enter prescription data and verify patient information in pharmacy systems.
• Manage inventory and assist in ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
• Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including those required by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Support smooth workflow by maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve prescription‑related issues.
• Adapt to changing priorities and evolving responsibilities in a startup environment.
