Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering efficient, safe, and caring service in store locations. You will assist with prescription processing, training requirements, and upholding SOPs to ensure accurate labels and patient safety.

Expect to complete state licensure and national certification requirements as applicable; there's a rigorous training program and pathways to a compliant, inclusive, and supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements and laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including age, education, and licensure/certification

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, tablets, and bottle counts
• Problem Resolution: identify challenging interactions and choose best action
• Physical Demands: lift, reach, stand, and operate equipment safely
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
