North Shore Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacy team with medication preparation, packaging, delivery, and charging under pharmacist supervision. This role supports pediatric through geriatric patients and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.

We are North Shore Medical Center.
Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.
We service a multitude of patients and their families across our vast network, while remaining committed to the professional development of our staff, the functional improvement of our patients, and the cultivation of strong partnerships within our communities.
The Technician works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist and assists in the preparation, packaging, delivery, and charging of various medications in a manner consistent with Federal and State Laws, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals (JCAHO), and the Hospital's internal QA programs. The Technician will also be involved in inventory management functions, quality assurance activities and other pharmacy related activities, including the production of IVs.
Assisting in the various activities of the pharmacy department not requiring the professional judgment of a registered pharmacist, thus allowing for the proper care of our pediatric through geriatric patients. Medication preparation, compounding, delivery, crediting, charging and inventory ordering are among some of the tasks the pharmacy technician is required to perform.
Current Florida License as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern required.
