Job summary

North Shore Medical Center in Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacy team with medication preparation, packaging, delivery, and charging under pharmacist supervision. This role supports pediatric through geriatric patients and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.

Candidates must hold a Florida Pharmacy Technician license (or be eligible as an intern) and have strong communication, numerical and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Current Florida License as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern required.
• Two years hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, packaging, delivery and charging of medications.
• Participate in inventory management and QA activities, including IV production.
• Support pharmacy staff under pharmacist supervision.
