Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a Blue Ridge, GA hospital to hire a Pharmacy Technician who will support the pharmacy team in safe, accurate medication services. You will assist pharmacists with preparation, dispensing, inventory, and documentation to uphold patient safety and quality care.

This full-time, day-shift role asks for 2–3 years hospital pharmacy technician experience, GA registration, and a focus on teamwork, accuracy, and effective communication in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years hospital-based pharmacy technician experience preferred.
  • GA Pharmacy Technician registration required.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
  • Teamwork, communication, accuracy, and attention to detail essential.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Blue Ridge, GA to hire a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient medication services. This role assists pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and documentation to ensure high standards of patient safety and pharmaceutical care.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
  • Assist with medication inventory, storage, and procurement
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Support pharmacists in safe medication dispensing and administrative & operational pharmacy tasks
  • Ensure compliance with handling, billing, and accountability procedures
  • Respond to medication requests, urgent needs and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care
What We Are Looking For
  • 2-3 years of hospital based pharmacy technician experience preferred
  • Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration required
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
  • Team- work skills & strong communication, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Professional, confidential, and dependable
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage interruptions and changing priorities
  • Ability to support medication needs across all patient age groups (neonatal to geriatric)
