Job summary

The Staff Pad in Blue Ridge, GA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient medication services. The role assists pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and documentation to ensure patient safety.

Schedule – Full-Time, Days. This fast-paced role offers opportunities to expand pharmacy operations knowledge and patient care experience within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years hospital-based pharmacy technician experience preferred.
  • Teamwork, strong communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Professional, confidential, and dependable.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Ability to support medication needs across all patient age groups (neonatal to geriatric).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision.
  • Assist with medication inventory, storage, and procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Support pharmacists in safe medication dispensing and administrative & operational tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with handling, billing, and accountability procedures.
  • Respond to medication requests, urgent needs and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care.
