Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join our store team in Sarasota, FL. You will support the pharmacy team by filling prescriptions accurately, assisting customers, and upholding safety and quality in our fast-paced environment.

You will complete required training, meet state licensure requirements, and deliver compassionate service while following SOPs and collaborating with colleagues to provide exceptional patient care and a seamless pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice, including age and licensure.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Work as part of the pharmacy team following SOPs and best practices.
