Job summary

Temple Health is seeking an Entry Level Pharmacy Technician for its Fox Chase Cancer Center. This full-time role includes supporting pharmacists with medication preparations and ensuring the safe delivery of pharmaceuticals. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma and possibly a CPHT certification, along with an eagerness to contribute to patient care within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy training preferred.
• CPHT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
• Identify, prepare, package, label, and deliver medications under supervision.
• Maintain medication inventory and sanitation.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Trade School: Pharmacy Technician Training Program (Preferred)


Experience

General Experience in an accredited hospital pharmacy technician training program or equivalent combination of education and experience (Preferred)

License/Certifications


CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
