Position Overview

This position is eligible for a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus for all New Hires

General Summary

Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, the pharmacy technician assists in the distribution and processing of prescriptions, the sale of over-the-counter medications, and enters prescription data into the computer. Responsibilities include billing, file maintenance, receiving payments, and stocking inventory. The technician interacts with the public and reports to pharmacists.

Minimum Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
2. Minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
3. Valid State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required.
