Pharmacy Technician - Floater - Evernorth Care Group - Greater Phoenix area (Finance)

This is a Pharmacy Technician role that floats to all the Evernorth Care Group locations within the Phoenix area. The position is worksite dependent and can only be performed onsite.

*** This float role is eligible for 6% premium pay. If you elect to transition out of the float position in the future, you will forfeit this incentive. ***

**** This float role is also eligible for round trip mileage reimbursement paid from your designated "home center" to all other centers. ****

We are seeking certified pharmacy technicians to join our fast-paced, customer-focused pharmacy teams at EVERNORTH Care Group locations across the Phoenix Valley. If you enjoy pharmacy operations and a friendly work environment, this position may be a great fit for you.

Work hours: Typically 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with start times between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM, and end times between 5:15 PM and 6:30 PM.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensure smooth daily operations: Manage pharmaceutical stock, maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment, prepare reports, and keep records of physician orders and prescriptions.
2. Perform hands-on tasks: Calculate quantities, prepare labels, and organize medications for dispensing, ensuring accuracy through multiple checks.
3. Provide excellent customer service: Answer questions and requests in person and by phone, and handle transaction steps for purchases.

Qualifications:

• PTCB Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to quality care.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with computers.

Preferred qualifications:

• At least 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
• CPhT credential.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
