Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a PRN Community/Retail Pharmacy Technician Float to join our pharmacy team. Float locations will be Lexington, Hamburg, Richmond, and Corbin, with responsibilities across community pharmacies.

You will support pharmacists in filling prescriptions, patient transactions, and medication delivery while maintaining high standards of patient care. The role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and strong customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration required before or on hire date.
• Must be able to travel to Baptist Health Community Pharmacy locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist and Staff Pharmacists in prescription fulfillment and dispensing.
• Enter orders, update patient information, fill and label prescriptions, and process transactions at point of sale.
• Deliver medications to patients as directed by Pharmacist.
• Assist with home delivery coordination for prescriptions.
• Support inventory management, restocking, and inventory counts.
• Assist in training new staff as assigned.
• Escalate issues or patient complaints to the Pharmacist when needed.
• Attend meetings and participate in committees as assigned.
