Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, preparing medications, and entering data with accuracy and attention to detail.

You will interact with patients, handle transactions, and direct clinical questions to the pharmacist while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and federal/state laws. The role emphasizes organization, reliability, and adaptability in a busy retail pharmacy setting.

Formación

• Must be 16+ years old (or 18+ depending on location)
• Board registration/licensure required where applicable
• Successful completion of required pharmacy training programs and technician development requirements
• Knowledge of pharmacy procedures, prescription processing, and HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency with computer systems and basic math calculations
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Availability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsabilidades

• Process prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with medication preparation and order processing within regulatory limits
• Answer questions and direct clinical inquiries to the pharmacist
• Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Restock supplies and keep the workspace clean and organized
